Eberle and Mitrevski Selected to ASUN All-Conference Team

2022 ASUN Men's Soccer Postseason Awards

Liberty forward Luke Eberle and midfielder Marko Mitrevski have been named to the 2022 ASUN Men’s Soccer All-Conference team; the conference announced this afternoon.

Selected by the conference’s head coaches, Eberle and Mitrevski were selected to the all-conference second team. Defender Bryce Swinehart was named to the ASUN All-Freshmen team.

Eberle receives his first all-conference team honor. The sophomore played in all 15 Liberty contests while starting 14 matches in 2022. The forward posted career-highs with six goals and 14 points. He also had two assists.

Eberle completed the season tied for the Liberty lead in goals and was second on the team in points. He tied for fifth in the ASUN in goals and seventh in the conference in points. Earlier today, the Arnold, Md., native was named to the 2022 ASUN Men’s Soccer All-Academic team.

Mitrevski voted his third selection to the ASUN All-Conference team. The midfielder was previously named to the 2022 Spring and 2022 Fall ASUN Conference first teams.

Mitrevski set career highs for points, goals and assists in his final season in a Liberty uniform. The senior led the Flames with 16 points, tying for the team lead with six goals and adding a team-leading four assists. He finished the season tied for fourth in the ASUN in points and tied for fifth in goals and sixth in assists in the conference.

Swinehart started all 15 games at defender in his first collegiate soccer season. The Charlotte, N.C., native scored two goals and assisted one for five points in 2022. He was part of a Liberty defensive unit that posted four shutouts.
