Liberty’s Calli Doan came in fourth at Friday’s NCAA Division I Southeast Regional Championships, leading the No. 27 Lady Flames to their best-ever team finish at this meet (fifth place). Meanwhile, a tight Liberty pack produced an 11th-place showing in the men’s race at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park.

By virtue of her lofty individual finish, Doan earned the right to compete at the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships on Nov. 20 in Tallahassee, Fla. She will find out Saturday at 5 p.m. on NCAA.com whether any teammates will join her in the Sunshine State.
