For the second time this season, Liberty junior Calli Doan has been honored as ASUN Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Competing at Friday's FSU Winter Cross Country Classic, Doan sped to a personal-best 6K time of 20:38.9 for 13th place of 126 women's runners. The native of Apex, N.C., served as the Lady Flames' No. 1 runner for the second time in as many races this season. She previously won the women's individual title at the CSU Buccaneer Invitational on Jan. 23, earning ASUN Runner of the Week recognition on Jan. 26.

Doan's lofty individual finish helped the Lady Flames place seventh as a team on Friday, just 26 tallies behind fourth-place Oklahoma State and ahead of No. 29 Boston College and Notre Dame among others.

Liberty's next race will be the ASUN Cross Country Championships, which are scheduled for March 5 at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course in Macon, Ga. The women's 5K will begin at 11 a.m. with the men's 8K to follow at noon.
