Brown Named to ASUN All-Tournament Team

After helping Liberty reach the semifinals, Dee Brown has been named to the 2022 ASUN Women’s Basketball Championship All-Tournament Team. The honor was announced following tonight’s Jacksonville State at FGCU title game.
During the Lady Flames’ two tournament games, Brown led the team in scoring (13.5 ppg), assists (3.5 apg) and steals (1.5 spg) while tying for the team lead in blocks (0.5 bpg) and tying for second in rebounds (7.0 rpg).
Brown contributed 16 points, seven rebounds and a game-high six assists to Liberty’s 77-57 quarterfinal victory over Eastern Kentucky, Sunday at Liberty Arena.
On Wednesday, Brown finished with 11 points, seven boards and a pair of steals as the Lady Flames were edged 59-57 by host Jacksonville State in the semifinals.
Brown and the 27-4 Lady Flames will await word on a possible postseason tournament destination Sunday night.
