Combo guard Asia Boone has signed a national letter of intent to attend Liberty University for the 2023-24 academic year.

Asia Boone (G, 5-9, San Diego, Calif.)
Boone is concluding her high school career at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., this year, following two years at Mater Dei Catholic High School in Chula Vista, Calf. (2019-20 and 2020-21) and one at St. Paul VI Catholic High School in Chantilly, Va.

Boone helped St. Paul VI capture the VISAA Division I state title a year ago, one season after being part of Mater Dei’s Southern California regional title-winning squad.

A member of the National Honor Society, Boone has also played for Team Durant on the AAU circuit.

“I am happy to announce that I will be committing to Liberty University,” Boone stated. “I am so happy with my decision all because of the support and love I receive from everyone from the program, especially Coach Green and Coach Bloodworth. I feel at home when I am on campus and I am excited to represent the Lady Flames with some amazing and fun teammates I will be with for the next four years. I am so blessed that God is by my side through this amazing experience, including my family and friends who support me.”
