NCAA DII Armstrong Atlantic came from five shots back and fourth place to win Liberty's Spring Invite at the Crosswinds Golf Club in Savannah, Ga. on Tuesday with a 281 in round two. 

Longwood held a two-shot lead over Radford entering the day, but shot a 300 on day two to finish second, 14-shots off the winner. Radford placed third at 591 while Gardner-Webb closed out the tournament in fourth at 596. 

There was a three-way tie for fifth place with High Point, Seton Hall and host Liberty all closing out at 597. 

Adam Webb of Longwood held onto his day one lead to win medalist honors at five-under par. Andrew Workman and Ryan Wilson took second and third place respectively at three and two-under par. Jay Calvo of Liberty tied for fourth after shooting one-under on Tuesday to finish even for the tournament.

Josh Meador entered the day tied with Webb for the individual lead after shooting a 68 in round one. Meador shot a 78 on Tuesday to finish in tenth place at two-over par.

Behind the play of Calvo, Stephen Hawk, Parker McKoy and Josh Bain, Liberty climbed to fifth place from where they stood at 10th entering the day. Hawk shot par in round two to finish at 161 for the tournament. McKoy finished tied for 17th at 149 after shooting 73 in round two. Bain shot a 74 to finish at 155 while Michael Turner rounds out the five at 156.
The Liberty "B" team finished in 8th place out of 13 teams behind the play of Peter Horstman, Andrew Nelson and Mark Hammond who all finished tied for 23rd at 151 for the tournament.
Manuel Moreno and Joshua Mast round out the Flame five with scores of 157 and 158 respectively for the tournament.

Liberty is back in action on March 26 when they play at William & Mary's two-day/54 hole Invitational at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
