    Despite a better shooting percentage and outrebounding their opponent, it was turnovers that proved too costly for the Flames (6-6) as Liberty committed 14 first half turnovers that led to an 85-81 loss at the hands of the Seton Hall Pirates (8-3) on Friday night at the Marriott Center. The game served as both teams second contest of the BYU Holiday Classic.

    Junior Dwight Brewington is one of three players at the Division I level that plays with some sort of hearing impairment. Brewington has 60 percent hearing loss in both ears and plays with hearing aids. Ryan Daniel of Lipscomb and Chris Devine of UC Santa Barbara join Brewington on this short list. Daniel is completely deaf and uses hearing aids, and Devine is deaf in one ear.
