Shannon Neeley has served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Liberty since Aug. 2018. She currently provides medical care for volleyball and oversees the care of swimming and diving. Shannon comes to Liberty from Randolph College, where she was primarily responsible for providing coverage to the women's volleyball, women's lacrosse and men's and women's tennis teams. She completed her undergraduate work at Liberty with a bachelor's degree in athletic training.
Following her undergraduate studies at Liberty, Neeley, formerly Shannon Jamerson, completed her master's degree in advanced athletic training from South Carolina. As a graduate assistant, she worked with the South Carolina track & field and cross country programs for a year, as well as serving one year as the head athletic trainer at Calhoun Academy in St. Matthews, S.C.
Married in May of 2018, Shannon and her husband, Zachary, reside in Rustburg, Va.
