Today's Flames Minute: Monday

Brought to you by Church Mutual Insurance, for this Monday, October 21, 2019, I'm Nick Pierce.

Quarterback Buckshot Calvert is now Liberty football's all-time leader in passing yards. Calvert broke the record, once held by Josh Woodrum, during Liberty's 59-44 win over Maine on Saturday in Lynchburg. Calvert is now one of three active FBS quarterbacks with more than 10,000 passing yards, but he says it isn't time to celebrate yet.

And Liberty is already a four-point favorite heading in to Saturday's game at Rutgers, but Calvert wasn't the only man breaking records. Flames wide receiver Antonio Gandy-Golden became Liberty's all-time receiving yards leader, passing Darrin Peterson's mark of 3,170 yards.
