Soli reached the round of 16 in the singles main draw at the ITA Atlantic Regional.
The Lady Flames tennis team claimed four of six singles matches on the third day of the ITA Atlantic Regional at Virginia Tech's Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center, Sunday.
Liberty wraps up its time at the regional with 10 singles wins and three doubles victories.
"Our goal for this weekend was to improve in various areas in our games. We accomplished that goal and grew, both as individuals and as a team," stated Liberty Women's Tennis Head Coach Jeff Maren. "I was especially proud of how the girls finished today. They raised their levels, which is encouraging as we draw closer to our spring season."
Senior Kalani Soli, the Lady Flames' last remaining player in the singles main draw and the No. 12 seed, won her first match on Sunday 7-5, 6-3 over James Madison's Kylie Moulin. She advanced to face No. 5 seed Amber O'Dell of Virginia in the round of 16. O'Dell edged Soli in a nail-biter, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.
Liberty's Caisey Lee Emery, Alexandra Almborg and Grace Hashiguchi each won a singles extra match on Sunday, as well.
