Following practice on Thursday afternoon at Williams Stadium, Flames Sports Network reporter Alan York had a chance to talk with Flames Head Coach Turner Gill about the team's final preparation for its season-opening contest against Wake Forest. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.

The game is the program's first under Gill and marks the second time Liberty has faced off against Wake Forest. The last time the Flames and the Demon Deacons met on the gridiron, Wake Forest posted a 34-14 victory at BB&T Field on Sept. 30, 2006.

The game can be heard live on the expanded FSN radio network that covers most of the Commonwealth of Virginia and large portions of North Carolina. Alan York, the "Voice of the Flames," will have the radio call, along with Paul Rutigliano (color), Nick Pierce (sidelines/pre-game), Jamie Hall (pre-game) and Matt Camire (pre-game). The FSN pre-game radio show starts at 5 p.m.

ESPN3 has the exclusive television rights to the game, which will be streamed live through its various multimedia outlets. Ryan Rose will have the play-by-play call, with Stan Lewter providing color commentary.
