Liberty Head Men's Golf Coach Jeff Thomas announced that Chris Watters has signed a National Letter of Intent for the 2007-08 academic year. 

Watters, who carries a 3.8 GPA, comes to Liberty from Mount Carmel High School in San Diego, Calif. Watters continues a family athletic legacy at Liberty as his father, John, was a linebacker on Liberty's 1981 football squad. 

"I am excited to have Chris at Liberty," said Thomas. "He fits exactly what we are seeking spiritually, academically and athletically from our players. Chris brings a wealth of national tournament experience and I expect him to have a successful collegiate career."
