Frazee Earns Second-Straight Big South Women's Basketball Player Of The Week Honor

For the second-consecutive week, Liberty sophomore guard/forward Megan Frazee has been tabbed the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Women's Basketball Player of the Week. She averaged 24.0 ppg and 10.5 rpg while helping the Lady Flames defeat Virginia for the second time in school history and win a road game at Binghamton.

Frazee (Xenia, Ohio) crafted one of the greatest performances in program history in Liberty's 75-71, come-from-behind triumph at Virginia's John Paul Jones Arena on Nov. 20. She scored a career high 37 points and matched a career best with 15 boards, enabling the Lady Flames to erase a 14-point deficit. Frazee, whose point total was the third-highest single-game scoring output in school history, tossed in 31 of her markers after halftime.

The sophomore then shared the team lead with 11 points and paced the Lady Flames with six rebounds in Saturday's 62-45 win at Binghamton. Eight of Frazee's tallies came after the intermission as she helped Liberty bolster a four-point halftime advantage.

For the week, Frazee shot 52.9 percent from the field, 50 percent from behind the three-point arc and 88.9 percent from the free throw line. She also averaged 2.0 apg and 1.0 bpg.

Frazee is the Big South leader in points per game (21.0) and rebounds per game (10.8). She additionally ranks fourth in the conference in field goal percentage (.543) and three-point field goal percentage (.429), sixth in free throw percentage (.821) and 10th in assists per game (2.4).

Liberty is 5-0 for the first time since the 1997-98 season and will look to remain undefeated when it visits James Madison, Wednesday at 7 p.m.
