Ten of Liberty's draft eligible players returned to the Williams Football Operations Center yesterday to showcase their talents during Liberty's annual Pro Day.
Starting at around 1 p.m. inside the weight room, Mike Brown, Asa Chapman, Mike Connolly, Ervin Garner, B.J. Hayes, Jeffery Henderson, Mike Larsson, Brandon Robinson, Tommy Shaver and Chris Summers ran through a series of drills in front of NFL talent scouts.
During the afternoon, the group was tested on the vertical jump, standing long jump, 225-pound bench press, 40-yard dash, short shuttle, three cone drill and position workouts.
The Flames Sports Network was on site throughout the day to catch some of the sights and sounds, while FSN reporter Alan York was able to catch up with Flames assistant coaches Marshall Roberts and Mike Minter to talk about what Liberty's players were hoping to accomplish as part of their road to playing professional football.
