Megan Frazee was named Big South Player of the Week.

Liberty sophomore guard/forward Megan Frazee has been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Women's Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 19.0 ppg and 10.0 rpg in victories over George Mason and Columbia Union.
Frazee, who garnered this award twice as a freshman, led all players in points (25) and rebounds (12) and also came up with three steals last Tuesday at George Mason. Her efforts helped the Lady Flames erase an 11-point second-half deficit and record a 61-56 road victory. Frazee sank all eight of her free throw attempts in the contest.

On Thursday, Frazee only played 15 minutes as Liberty recorded its largest margin of victory since Jan. 14, 1995, a 97-27 triumph over Columbia Union. Frazee tallied 13 points and eight boards in her limited action against the Pioneers.

Frazee scored a career-best 37 points and equaled her career high with 15 caroms Monday evening in Liberty's 75-71 win at Virginia. Her point total was the third-highest single-game effort in program history, and 31 of those markers came after halftime. That performance was not factored into Frazee's Player of the Week award, however.

The 4-0 Lady Flames will look to remain unbeaten on Saturday when they travel to Binghamton for a 1 p.m. contest.
