While most Liberty fans will either be cheering the Flames on to victory against Stony Brook from inside of LaValle Stadium on Long Island or watching from the comforts of their own homes on television, Barber will be watching the game from the home base of the NCAA in Indianapolis, Ind.
Barber is currently in his second year as a member of the NCAA Division I FCS ADA Executive Committee, a group that has the responsibility of picking the 20 teams that will comprise this year's NCAA FCS Playoff field.
Before Barber boarded a plane for Indianapolis on Friday, Flames Sports Network reporter Alan York had a chance to catch up with the six-year athletics director.
During today's video athletics update, Barber will breakdown the selection process, giving FCS fans some insight into the committee's duties that will take place late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
The seven-minute piece will close with an athletics facility update, including the latest information about the new video board in the Vines Center, a basketball practice facility and the progress toward a new baseball stadium.
