Last night, the Liberty women's basketball team won its 20th game of the season, 66-56, over Charleston Southern at the Vines Center. Avery Warley (22 points, 10 rebounds) and Devon Brown (20 points, 12 rebounds) helped the Lady Flames end the Buccaneers' four-game winning streak.

Liberty will now prepare for its final regular-season road trip. The Lady Flames will visit UNC Asheville Saturday at 2 p.m., before traveling to Presbyterian College for a 7 p.m. Monday contest.

News and Notes from Monday's Charleston Southern at Liberty game:
-- Liberty reached the 20-win plateau for the 12th time in the last 14 seasons.

-- The Lady Flames won their 10th Big South Conference game of the year, marking the 11th consecutive season Liberty has won double-digit conference games.

-- Liberty shot 54.5 percent (24-of-44) from the field, improving to 10-0 this season and 69-0 under head coach Carey Green when making at least half of its field goals.

-- The nation's No. 1-ranked team in rebounding margin, the Lady Flames won the battle of the boards, 38-16. During the second half, Liberty outrebounded CSU, 21-5. Devon Brown corralled seven rebounds by herself after halftime.

-- The win was the Lady Flames' 27th straight victory over Charleston Southern. Liberty is now 42-5 all-time against the Buccaneers.

-- Liberty improved to 96-6 in its last 102 February contests, dating back to 1997.

-- The Lady Flames, now 11-2 at home this season, have won 199 games at the Vines Center since the facility opened in 1990. They will have a chance to go for Vines Center victory No. 200 March 5, when they host Radford.

-- Liberty won despite shooting only 1-for-8 from three-point range, improving to 8-1 this season when making zero or one three-pointers.

-- Defensively, Liberty came up with 11 steals, notching double-digit thefts for the 18th time in 2009-10. Last season, the Lady Flames only had 10 or more steals nine times all year.

-- Avery Warley made all nine of her field goal attempts, setting a Vines Center record for single-game field goal percentage. Moriah Frazee held the previous mark with an 8-for-8 performance versus Virginia Union on Nov. 30, 2007.

-- Warley has now shot 7-for-7 or better from the floor in three home games during her career.

-- For the fifth time in the last 12 games, two Lady Flames (Avery Warley and Devon Brown) posted a double-double in the same contest.

-- Warley's seventh double-double of the season and her sixth in the last nine games included a game-high 22 points and 10 rebounds.

-- As a redshirt sophomore, Warley became one of the top 25 rebounders in program history. The Washington, D.C., native now has 467 career boards. Warley also moved up to No. 47 on Liberty's career scoring list, with 529 points.

-- Brown's team-high ninth double-double of the year consisted of 20 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

-- Brown has now scored in double figures in 14 straight games.
