Following Liberty's largest margin of victory in a Big South Conference game, Flames head coach Danny Rocco held his weekly press conference, Tuesday afternoon, from the Donor Room of the Williams Football Operation Center.

During the 30-minute meeting, Rocco reviewed Liberty's dominating 58-13 victory over Coastal Carolina, while fielding questions regarding Liberty's upcoming matchup with Charleston Southern.

Below are the numerous subjects Rocco touched upon during the press conference:
• Opened with comments about the Coastal Carolina game, including talks about Liberty's most complete game under Rocco, his discussion with the team during halftime, Liberty's suffocating defense, the Flames' depth at several positions on the roster, the team's confidence following the sizeable victory, a review of the game stats, his personal relationship with Coastal Carolina head coach David Bennett and his concern with Liberty's special teams play in the game.
• Asked to talk about the injury to running back B.J. Hayes and his status for this weekend's game at Charleston Southern.
• Responded to the question about how to convince his team that Charleston Southern is a dangerous team, considering Liberty's recent success against the Buccaneers.
• Commented on how playing time might increase for running backs Danny Broggin and SirChauncey Holloway, considering the playing condition of B.J. Hayes.
• Spoke on the play of Liberty's offensive line and how the unit graded out against Coastal Carolina after Rocco had been critical of them following the previous games.
• Talked about the similarities between running back Aldreakis Allen and former Flame and current Jacksonville Jaguars running back Rashad Jennings.
• Remarked about Liberty's 47-yard touchdown play involving Tommy Beecher, Mike Brown and Chris Summers and if Brown had the option to tuck the ball and run if Summers was not open.
• Commented on the improved play of Trey Jacobs during his senior year and if his intensity has increased during his final year with the program.
• Asked to comment if the week off from competition helped give Liberty extra preparation time for its matchup with Coastal Carolina, especially after the coaching staff reviewed the first five games of the year.
• Commented on if he believed Tommy Beecher and Mike Brown are where he wanted them to be in terms of the quarterback position after six games of play.
• Remarked how beneficial it is to have a player like Mike Brown on his team to help Liberty prepare to defend a player like Charleston Southern's Gerald Stevenson.
• Talked about the playing status of offensive lineman Justin Vargas and if he is healthy enough to start against Charleston Southern this weekend.
• Commented on the similarities between Liberty and Charleston Southern's university mission.
• Asked to look back at the James Madison game and if he wished Liberty could have another shot at playing against them this season, considering the Flames' recent success.
• Talked about what point he knew the game with Coastal Carolina was going to go Liberty's direction.
