Today, continues its weekly question-and-answer series with the Lady Flames volleyball team, designed to give fans a unique look at the two-time defending Big South champions. Sophomore Courtney Boggs is this week's featured Lady Flame.

Courtney Boggs, a sophomore from Marysville, Ohio, has played both backup setter and back row right-side hitter for the Lady Flames this season. She has totaled 30 assists and 13 digs on the year, including a season-high 21 assists versus Howard on Sept. 5.

As a freshman, Boggs made the most of her opportunities at the setter position. She recorded 106 assists and 32 digs during an early-November road trip to UNC Asheville and Presbyterian. Her 64 assists versus UNC Asheville were the second-most by any Big South setter all season. The psychology major also earned a place on the Big South Presidential Honor Roll.

What is the most exciting thing you did this summer?
Took a trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn.

If you could add a match to this year's schedule, which team would you want to play?
I'd like to play Ohio State because it's in my hometown.

What is your favorite volleyball memory?
Too many of them. Pretty much any time we hang out as a team, I get a new favorite memory.

How many text messages do you send per month?
Well, I have unlimited texting if that tells you anything.

Who is your best friend currently playing collegiate volleyball for another team, and who do they play for?
Katie Sumner at Wittenberg University

What is your favorite vacation spot?
London, England

What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
Proverbs 31:8-9
"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."

This is my favorite passage because I'm passionate about justice and helping those in need.

What is your favorite food?
All of it, especially macaroni and cheese. I'm not a big fan of vegetables though.

My dream beach volleyball partner would be …
Elaine Youngs, because she's an incredibly fiery player

The most impressive thing about Coach Pinder is …
I really appreciate his commitment to excellence.

What is the best advice you have ever received, and who gave it to you?
Dream big. This principle was instilled by my parents and has been impressed in my mind through countless other people.
