Today, LibertyFlames.com continues its weekly question-and-answer series with the Lady Flames volleyball team, designed to give fans a unique look at the two-time defending Big South champions. Hannah Anderson, one of five newcomers on this year's roster, is this week's featured Lady Flame.

Hannah Anderson, a 5-10 outside hitter, joins the Lady Flames after a stellar career at Rocklin High School in Rocklin, Calif. She was a first-team All-Sierra Foothill League (SFL) selection as a senior, after helping the Thunder capture the SFL championship.

As a junior, Anderson was an honorable mention All-SFL pick. That season, Rocklin reached the Nor Cal tournament semifinal round.
Last night, Anderson made a successful first appearance in a Liberty uniform. She narrowly missed a double-double at the Lady Flames' annual Blue-White Scrimmage, finishing the evening with nine kills and a matching number of digs.

Anderson and the rest of the Lady Flames will begin the 2009 season Friday at 4 p.m., with a match against UNC Greensboro at the Hilton Garden Hokie Invitational in Blacksburg, Va.
