Today, continues its women's soccer feature, "Free Kicks with …" Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the season, "Free Kicks with …" hopes to help you get to know the Lady Flames a bit better. Today, we meet senior Emily House, one of seven seniors on the Liberty roster.

Emily House is in her final season with the Lady Flames. This season, the midfielder/defender has played in all Liberty contests, starting three. Through the first six contests of the year, she has tallied an assist.

Last season, the Lynchburg, Va., native appeared in 10 contests with starts. She had an assist in a 4-1 win over Radford. In addition, House earned Big South Presidential Honor Roll mention for the third-consecutive year.

During her sophomore year, she played defender, helping the Lady Flames post the second- lowest goal-against-average in program history at 1.07 and recording eight shutouts. House played in 10 contests in 2006, with six starts.

In her first season at Liberty, House appeared in 13 matches, starting the last nine of the season. The Lady Flames went 7-2 during the stretch and captured the program's third Big South title.

A graduate of Heritage High School, House was first-team all-region and honorable mention all-state. She was a four-time all-district member during her prep career and was a member of the Lynchburg United travel team.

Crying, laughing, sweating, praying, singing, running, rejoicing and playing soccer with thirty-some amazing girls!

2. If you could compete against any athlete in any sport, who would it be and why?
I would compete with Kerri Walsh, an Olympic volleyball player, because I am in volleyball class now, and I think I could take her. 

3. Who is your favorite Bible character and why?
Paul, because his life was serving, loving and dying for the sake of others, knowing Jesus and his love for the Lord. I want that kind of passion.

4. If you could eat dinner with three other people (living or alive), who would they be and why?
Paul and my Nana, because I miss her very much.

6. If someone would look at the songs on my iPod, I would be embarrassed for them to see I have this song or artist …
Well, I love High School Musical, so any songs from that sound track, but I wouldn't be embarrassed.

7. What TV station do you watch most often?
Disney Channel

9. A place I would like to visit one day is …

10. What are five things you could not live without?
My family, Derek, food, water, my Bible, peanut butter and bananas.

11. What is something about you that other people don't know?
I love old movies and operas

12. What was the best movie you watched over the summer?
Batman – The Dark Knight.

13. Who is the most famous person you have ever met and how did you met them?
Andy Reid, [the Philadelphia] Eagle's head football coach. I was up in a sky box at a Phillies' game and he was a couple boxes down.

14. Who is your favorite Liberty athlete to watch compete?
Karen Blocker, she makes awesome diving saves. Wow!

15. My dream job would be …
A professional wrestling wardrobe designer … But really, I would like to be a physical education teacher and coach. Or, I would like to play soccer and help out with a soccer mission team.
