• Liberty swept its third straight ASUN series to move to 14-1 in conference play and 30-11 overall, this past weekend. With its sweep of Bellarmine, Liberty is now 19-2 are home this season. The Flames have now won 30 or more games in 17 consecutive seasons. 
• Liberty has won 10 of its last 14 road games and enter Tuesday's contest with an 11-9 mark on the road.
• Tuesday's contest is the second meeting between Liberty and Wake Forest, this season. The Flames defeated the Demon Deacons 8-4 at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium on April 7.
• Liberty is 7-3 in midweek games in 2021, including a 5-3 record against ACC opponents.

  • C Gray Betts enters the week having reached base safely streak in 30 consecutive games, the longest of the season by a Flame. The catcher is second in the ASUN Conference in batting average (.357), on base percentage (.471) and runs scored (45). During the month of April, Betts hit .387 with a .506 on base percentage. He scored 21 runs in 16 games during the month.
  • 1B Logan Mathieu hit three home runs this past weekend, including two on Sunday. His second home run of the contest gave Liberty a 9-8 walk-off victory. Mathieu leads the ASUN Conference with 12 home runs. The first baseman hit .417 with nine RBI during Liberty's weekend series with Bellarmine.
  • 2B Will Wagner begins the week the Flames leader and second in the ASUN with 40 RBI.  The second baseman posted back-to-back multi-hit games with three hits on Friday and two hits on Saturday.
  • SS Cam Locklear posted his 10th multi-hit game of the year and extended his reached base safely streak to 21 consecutive games on Sunday. It is the longest such streak of the season for the shortstop.
  • 3B Trey McDyre hit .344 with 12 RBI and 14 runs scored during the month of April.
    LF Aaron Anderson leads the ASUN Conference and is fourth in the nation with 17 doubles. Anderson leads the Flames with a .395 road batting average.
  • CF Jaylen Guy hit his second home run of the season, Sunday afternoon in Liberty's 9-8 win over Bellarmine.
  • RF Jake Wilson hit .500 and scored six times during Liberty's sweep of Bellarmine, this past weekend. The outfielder singled in the ninth inning and walked twice during Sunday's victory. He has reached base safely in 18 consecutive games. It is the longest such streak for Wilson, this season.
  • DH Brady Gulakowski has hit .414 with four home runs, 14 RBI and 10 runs scored over his last eight starts.
  • RP David Erickson retire all nine batters he faced, pitching three scoreless innings to run his record to 8-1 on the season, Saturday. The right-hander is tied for the ASUN lead in wins.
