• After having their ASUN series at Kennesaw State canceled this past weekend, Liberty split a pair of games against the VCU Rams. The Flames defeated the Rams 9-3 at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium, before falling at VCU 4-1 on Saturday.
• With its win over VCU in Lynchburg on Friday, Liberty ran its record to 9-0 at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium in 2021. The Flames are 44-7 over the last three seasons at the facility. 
• Liberty has won 11 consecutive games at Worthington Field at Liberty Baseball Stadium. The streak is currently tied with San Diego for the fifth longest home winning steak in the country.
•  The Flames finished the month of March with a 14-2 record. Liberty won 13 consecutive games to start the month, the second longest  winning streak in the country this season. The streak set a new NCAA Division I program record for the Flames..
• Liberty head coach Scott Jackson is in his fifth season. He has led the Flames to a 134-85 record and a NCAA Regional appearance during his tenure in 2019.

  • C Gray Betts has at least one hit in each of his last 11 games, the longest hitting streak for a Flame this season.  During the streak, Betts has hit .421 during the streak. On Friday, he collected his 10th multi-hit game of the year and hit his second home run of 2021 in a 9-3 win over VCU.
  • 1B Logan Mathieu leads the Flames and is tied for second in the ASUN Conference with five home runs.
  • 2B Will Wagner singled in the second inning of Saturday's game at VCU and has now reached base safely in 15 consecutive games, the longest reached base safely streak by a Flame this year. The junior enters the week with a team-leading 20 RBI.
  • SS Cam Locklear has at least one hit in five-straight games. The shortstop went 5-for-8 in Liberty's two-games against VCU, this past weeekend. On Saturday, he had three hits, a double, RBI and a run scored.
  • 3B Trey McDyre has a .439 on base percentage over his last 10 games and is one of three Flames with a OBP over .400 (Anderson and Wagner) for the season at .413.
  • LF Aaron Anderson enters the week with a team-leading .333 batting average. He also leads the Flames with 11-multi-hit games. This past Saturday, he hit this third home run of thes season at VCU.
  • CF Jaylen Guy collected back-to-back multi-hit games, last week. Guy had two hits and scored a run at Duke on March 30, while having a RBI triple as one of his two hits in a 9-3 win over VCU, this past Friday.
  • RF Jake Wilson went 3-for-4 with a RBI, Saturday at VCU.
  • RP Dylan Cumming pitched 3 1/3 innings of scoreless relief at Duke on March 30.
  • RP Fraser Ellard has not allowed a run in his last six appearances. Ellard struck out six of the seven VCU Rams he faced in 1 1/3 scoreless innnings of work on March 21. Ellard six strikeouts were part of the Flames season-high 17.
