Liberty to Host Bellarmine in an ASUN Match, Saturday

The Liberty Flames will face the Bellarmine Knights in an ASUN Conference match at Osborne Stadium, Saturday. Game time is scheduled for 2 p.m.

2021 Spring Sports Admissions/Tickets
Due to COVID-19 and state regulations, capacity at all Liberty Athletics events is under a limited capacity of 250 patrons or 30 percent capacity, whichever is less based on social distancing protocols, per Virginia Governor Ralph Northam's current Phase 3 guidelines. Liberty Notables
• Liberty and Bellarmine will meet for the second time this season on Saturday in ASUN Conference play. The Knights defeated the Flames 2-1 in overtime in Louisville, Ky. on March 6.
• Liberty and Bellarmine met for the first time on the soccer pitch  this season. The Knights are in their first season in the ASUN.
• Liberty has outscored its opponents, 14-5, in 2021. The Flames  enter Saturday's contest with a 0.60 goals against average.
• Liberty has allowed one or fewer goals in six of their eight contests this season.
•  Senior forward Musa Morris enters Saturday's match leading the Flames in goals (5) and points (12). Freshman Michael Huss scored in last Saturday's match and is second on the team with four goals and eight points.
• Midfielder Marko Mitrevski leads the Flames with four assists. Fellow midfielder Luke Eberle is next with three.
• Goalkeeper Danny Cordero has played every minute in net for Libety this season. He has posted a 0.60 goal against average and six shutouts. The sophomore made a season-high six saves last Saturday against Lipscomb at Osborne Stadium
• Liberty has had back-to-back games go to overtime. The Flames have played three overtime contests this season, posting a 0-2-1 mark.
