After attempting just three shots in the first half, Liberty picked up its offensive attack in the second half attempting five shots, including Rachel DeRuby's first career goal midway through the second half. Liberty's backline withstood Kennesaw State's pressure in the first half as the Owls attempted nine shots but in the second half the Lady Flames settled in allowing just five shots and only one goal.
