Liberty Draws a 0-0 Tie at ODU

For the second straight season, Liberty and Old Dominion found themselves in an overtime battle, with the match resulted in a 0-0 draw at the ODU Soccer Complex.

Turning Point

Liberty started the game frustrating ODU's attack, as the Monarchs did not record a shot attempt until 27 minutes into the match. Throughout the match, Liberty continued to put pressure on ODU's backline, attempting 13 shots throughout the match. During the two overtime periods, Liberty was able to attempt five shots, with three on target, but was unable to convert a game-winning goal. Liberty's backline was exceptional throughout the day allowing just three shots on target.
