Liberty women's tennis has announced the addition of Elsa Kirch for the 2021-22 academic year.

The Liberty Lady Flames tennis program has announced the addition of Elsa Kirch for the 2021-22 school year.

"Elsa is an outstanding fit for our program," stated Liberty Women's Tennis Head Coach Jeff Maren. "She is driven to grow her game, has a strong faith and is passionate about contributing to our team. We can't wait to welcome her to campus!"

A native of Garner, N.C., Kirch has 186 career junior tennis victories. Most recently, she won a Southern Level 2 U18 doubles title in Arkansas. Kirch reached a No. 1 ranking in the state of North Carolina for U14 and U16 and a top five ranking at the U18 level.

Kirch won a Southern Level 3 U18 doubles title and was a Southern 4 SC Junior State Open Girls U18 singles and doubles champion. She also was a state high school champion in singles and doubles and received the 2019 Debbie Southern Junior Tennis Female Sportsmanship Award.

"I chose Liberty because right when I stepped on campus, I had this gut feeling that I was meant to be there," Kirch said. "When I met some of the student-athletes, I saw how much they loved their teams and the school. I can't wait to join the Flames family and be a part of such a hardworking group of people."
