Liberty Athletics Tryout Information
**Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, information regarding walk-on tryouts for the Liberty men's and women's track & field program has recently changed. In order to try out, an individual must have a negative COVID-19 test (test must have been conducted on August 24 or later). Please read below for full details.** The Liberty men's and women's track & field program will hold walk-on tryouts during the month of October.
The tryout will consist of a combination of testing, drills and sprints (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and/or 1,600m), depending on your specialty. Please wear appropriate attire and running shoes.
Students interested in trying out for the team must visit the "Liberty Athletics Tryout Information" link at the top of this page and complete all of the necessary requirements listed.
All necessary paperwork, including documentation from the COVID-19 test (test must have been conducted on August 24 or later), must be completed and turned in to team athletic trainer, Noah Wilson, prior to trying out. Wilson's office is located on the track level of the Liberty Indoor Track Complex. Wilson can be found there from 1-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Additionally, students who plan to try out must contact the appropriate event coach to coordinate the date/time and other details regarding the tryout.
