The ASUN Conference has released its Senior Spotlight video on the Liberty women's tennis program and its one senior, Kalani Soli.
A native of Carson, Calif., Soli has excelled on the court in her two seasons with the Lady Flames after transferring from Tyler Junior College. She opened the spring campaign with a perfect 9-0 mark in the No. 1 singles slot and was 8-2 in doubles with her partner, freshman Eloise Saraty.
Soli's accomplishments over the past two years include: • 40-10 overall singles record | 25-3 spring singles mark • 28-13 overall doubles record | 18-5 spring doubles mark • ASUN All-Conference first team (2019) • VaSID All-State singles first team (2019) • Three-time ASUN Player of the Week • Defeated 20th-ranked player in the country, Illinois' Asuka Kawai, in straight sets at the Oracle ITA Masters in fall 2019 • Ended 2019 season ranked No. 14 in Atlantic Region in singles • Posted 15-0 record at No. 2 singles in 2019 and won last 14 matches
