The Liberty Lady Flames tennis squad will return home for a match on Saturday morning against the Richmond Spiders. First serve is slated for 11 a.m. at Crosswhite Athletic Club.

Liberty (3-3) is looking to snap a two-match losing skid after falling to Florida International and Florida Atlantic, last weekend. Meanwhile, Richmond enters the match with a 3-4 mark and 1-0 record in the A10. In their most recent match last Friday, the Spiders topped Hampton 7-0 on the road.

This will be the sixth all-time meeting between the two schools but first since 2015. Richmond holds a 3-2 edge in the series. However, Liberty defeated Richmond 5-2 in the last meeting, April 9, 2015 in Richmond, Va.

  • Liberty has not lost a home match since the 2018 season, winning 10 straight home contests during that stretch.
  • Lady Flames senior Kalani Soli (No. 1 singles) is 6-0 in spring singles matches. The Carson, Calif., native has currently won 20 straight spring singles matches, dating back to the 2019 campaign. Soli has won 40 straight sets during that stretch. The senior is also 5-1 in doubles with freshman partner Eloise Saraty.
  • Liberty is 20-16 (.556) in singles bouts and 11-7 (.611) in doubles matches as a unit. The doubles pairing of freshmen Tiffany Nguyen and Micaela Ode Mitre is 5-1 on the season as well.
