Liberty (11-6, 4-1 ASUN), currently tied with FGCU for second in the ASUN standings, looks to continue its dominance at home, taking on NJIT on Friday and Stetson on Sunday, both at the Vines Center. The Highlanders and Hatters are both looking for their first ASUN win of the season.

Liberty went 5-0 combined against NJIT and Stetson last year, sweeping both opponents at the Vines Center.

The Lady Flames are 6-0 at home this season and have won their last 12 home matches in a row. Liberty has not lost a set at home since dropping set one to Virginia Tech on Sept. 7, a span of 15 sets. Additionally, Liberty has is on an eight match conference home winning streak.

Sunday will serve as Liberty's Dig Pink match. The Lady Flames are partnering with the Side-Out Foundation to support breast cancer research. All donations with go toward the development of treatments for those with Stage 4 breast cancer.

1. Liberty has opened ASUN play at 4-1 each of the last two years. The Lady Flames edged North Alabama 3-2 last Friday before sustaining their first league loss on Saturday at Lipscomb. Liberty outhits opponents .238-.135 in ASUN matches so far.

2. Redshirt junior Amelia Johnson is second in the ASUN in kills per set both overall (4.17) and in conference play (5.18). She leads the team with 15 double-digit kill matches and six double-doubles. She scored a career-high 21 kills at North Alabama, and her current streak of five straight 15-kill matches is Liberty's longest since 2016 (Leah Clayton - seven straight).

3. Senior middle blocker Anna Gragg, a three-time all-conference performer, is second in the ASUN in attack percentage (37th nationally - .391) and third in blocks per set (1.08). She and Casey Goodwin were both voted to the ASUN Preseason All-Conference Team.

4. Senior right-side hitter Casey Goodwin, a two-time all-conference selection, was a first team All-ASUN pick last year when she led the ASUN with 40 aces. She needs 15 more kills to become Liberty's 16th player all-time with 1,000 or more career kills.

5. Senior setter Hannah Morris was named the 2019 Fan-Voted ASUN Preseason Setter of the Year. Morris is ranked sixth in the ASUN with 8.91 assists per set. With 1,902 career assists, she needs three more assists to enter Liberty's all-time top 10 for career assists.

6. Second-year head coach Trevor Johnson has had a highly successful coaching career. Including his time at Concordia (Calif.) and Liberty, he has posted a 112-37 career record. He coached the Concordia men's team to an NAIA National Championship in 2013.

7. Liberty welcomes six newcomers, including five freshmen and transfer junior Macy Phillips. Phillips, a libero, comes to Liberty from Florida, where she was a reserve on the Gators' national finalist squad in 2017. Phillips ranks fourth in the ASUN with 4.35 digs per set.

- Liberty's current RPI of 99 is its highest RPI since ending the 2010 season at 97.

- Liberty's current 12-match home winning streak is its longest since winning 15 straight home matches from Oct. 14, 2011 through Sept. 3, 2013. The Lady Flames have lost one set at home this season, going 6-0 this year and 13-3 at home under current head coach Trevor Johnson.

- Amelia Johnson (vs. North Alabama), Casey Goodwin (vs. Louisiana) and Anna Gragg (vs. Northern Arizona) all have one 21-kill match this season. The last time three Lady Flames had a 20-kill match in the same season was 2003 (Erin McKeown, Becky Rudnick and Tatiana Tkachuk).

- The Lady Flames have posted 10 or more blocks eight times this season after recording 12 10-block matches in 2018.

- Liberty is a perfect 3-0 in five-set matches this season.
