Liberty men's tennis junior Nicaise Muamba will travel to California to compete in the prestigious Oracle ITA Masters tournament.
The tournament will begin on Thursday and run through Sunday. This will be Muamba's second event of the fall. He opened his season last weekend at the Gamecock Ranked + 1 Fall Invitational.

Draws/Results: Draws will be announced later in the day on Wednesday, and results can be found on the tournament central page throughout the week.
Tournament Breakdown: Muamba, the 2019 ASUN Men's Tennis Player of the Year, received an invitation to the event as the top returning player from the ASUN Conference. The elite field will feature seven of the top 25 singles players in the country. The men's singles champion will earn an automatic berth into the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, held Nov. 6-10 in Newport Beach, Calif. Muamba will also team up with Lady Flames women's tennis senior Kalani Soli in a mixed doubles draw.
Muamba is currently ranked 65th in the country in the latest Oracle/ITA Division I Men's Rankings, which lists the top-125 players in the nation. His No. 65 ranking is the best of any player in program history. The Laval, Quebec, Canada, native posted a pair of singles victories and a doubles win at last weekend's Gamecock Fall Invitational.
