Liberty Flames Letterwinners Association
In an effort to recognize, honor and grow the rich tradition of Flames Athletics, Liberty has launched the Liberty Flames Letterwinners Association.
This initiative is specifically intended to serve those who were a member of a Liberty Athletics team, ranging from the department's humble beginnings at the NCCAA level all the way up to now as a thriving NCAA Division I program.
The Liberty Flames Letterwinners Association is for all former student-athletes, coaches, team managers, cheerleaders, and athletic trainers.
"We are excited to launch the Letterwinners Association and recognize the vital role that our former student-athletes, coaches, managers and trainers have played in laying the foundation for our athletics program," stated Ian McCaw, Liberty's Director of Athletics. "The Association will allow us to better engage and serve this important constituency."
While all former student-athletes and team members are still welcome at all alumni games, reunions and tailgates, members of the Liberty Flames Letterwinners Association may receive complimentary admission, reduced costs and priority access to events.
Membership is $71 per year, which includes an Eagle Level ($120) Flames Club membership, home and away seating priority, 10 Flames Club Loyalty Points (valued at a $1000 donation), reduced cost season tickets and more.
The Liberty Flames Letterwinners Association will have a special kickoff event with a tailgate at the Flames Fan Fest (inside the Liberty Indoor Practice Facility) prior to Liberty's football game vs. Buffalo on September 14.
Members will receive complimentary access, while all other eligible attendees may purchase admission for $9. The Liberty Flames Letterwinners Association will host a similar tailgate at Homecoming prior to the game vs. Maine on Oct. 19.
Those interested in joining the Liberty Flames Letterwinners Association or registering for the tailgate should visit the Letterwinners web site or contact the Flames Club at FlamesClub@liberty.edu or (434) 582-CLUB (2582).
