Liberty Athletics understands the football game day experience begins long before kickoff at Williams Stadium and the department is here to make each fan's entrance to campus goes as smooth as possible on Saturdays this fall.
To help Flames Nation with their game day parking questions, Liberty Athletics has provided the following information.
All fans are encouraged to: 1. Arrive early 2. Know the route to your parking area, including road closures 3. Follow all guidance of those directing traffic 4. Be courteous to other drivers and pedestrians
General Parking Lots: General parking is available in the areas around Thomas Road Baptist Church, the lots along Candlers Mountain Road, the Academic Commons Parking Garage, East Campus lots and along Liberty Mountain Drive.
Reserved Parking Lots: The parking lots closest to Williams Stadium are reserved for qualifying Flames Club members. To join the Flames Club and receive benefits in addition to parking, visit www.LibertyFlames.com/FlamesClub. All reserved lots should be free of other vehicles beginning at midnight prior to the home football game. Reserved lots open to pass holders at 8 a.m. on game day.
Flames Club issued parking passes should be extended out the window in plain view when approaching all officers and attendants, and will be scanned upon entry to the respective lots.
Flames Club Member Reserved Parking Lot Listing: • Silver Lot (Luurtsema Center) - Suite holders and members at President's Level and higher • Red Lot (Hancock Welcome Center) - Members at Director's Level and higher • Blue Lot (curbside between football practice field and Liberty Baseball Stadium) - Members at Director's Level and higher • Orange Lot (Bailey/Liberty Athletics Center) - Members at Eagle Level and higher • Yellow Lot (Speakman/Bookstore) - Members at Eagle Level and higher parking • Purple Lot (Baseball Outfield) - Members at Eagle Level and higher
Game Day Shuttles: Liberty offers complimentary transit to Williams Stadium along Liberty Mountain Drive from the Liberty Indoor Track Complex to East Satellite Lot and beginning three (3) hours prior to kickoff and concluding two (2) hours after the conclusion of the game.
Paid Parking Lots: Pre-paid and pay-on-site parking is available at Doc's Diner, subject to availability. To purchase parking prior to the game, please here.
Handicap/Accessible Parking Lots: Liberty Athletics has designated the Liberty Indoor Track Complex as a remote satellite lot for those needing assistance into the stadium and with handicap parking tags. Accessible shuttles will run from the Indoor Track to Williams Stadium Gate 1 and the Liberty Indoor Practice Facility beginning three (3) hours prior to the game, and concluding two (2) hours following the game.
Game Day Road Closures: The roads immediately around Williams Stadium close three (3) hours prior to kickoff. Only Flames Club members with passes specific to the lots within the pedestrian zone will be allowed beyond the road barricades.
Tailgating: Game day tailgating is permitted and encouraged throughout campus on game day in all parking lots. Vehicles may only take one parking space in reserved lots, and may not impede traffic or access of other vehicles to parking spaces. Alcohol is not permitted on the Liberty University campus.
RV and Oversize Vehicles: RV and oversize vehicles are permitted in the Paid Parking lot at Doc's Diner and may be purchased by visiting www.LibertyFlames.com/Tickets. Vehicles may not be occupied overnight on the Liberty University campus.
Football Season Tickets Remain On Sale
Excitement around Liberty's football program has never been higher and Flames Nation can take their next step in supporting the Flames by purchasing their 2019 season tickets.
After seeing the Flames become the ninth team in NCAA history to win six or more games during their first season at the FBS level, college football's highest level of competition, the Flames Ticket Office is excited to announce that 2019 season tickets are currently on sale.
Flames Nation can reserve their season tickets for as low as $70 per person for a general admission ticket at the renovated Williams Stadium, which now seats 25,000 fans.
By visiting www.LUFootball.com, fans can see the variety of numerous season ticket options available throughout the 2019 season.
Season ticket packages for Liberty's six-game home schedule include: Club Level ($360), West Premium Chairbacks ($165), West Reserved Benchbacks ($130), West Reserved Benchbacks ($100), East Reserved Benchbacks ($85) and East General Admission ($70).
A season ticket package provides fans with significant savings over purchasing a single game ticket – up to 56 percent. Liberty opens its 2019 season on Aug. 31 when it hosts ACC opponent Syracuse, the first Power 5 opponent to visit Williams Stadium.
