While Liberty student-athletes were away from campus this summer, Liberty Athletics was busy working to make their dining options look different for the 2019-20 athletics season.
In a space previously used by the Flames Club and Flames Ticket Office, Liberty student-athletes will have a 134-seat training table eating area housed on the second floor of the Carter Tower.
The facility, which is scheduled to be open during the month of August, will house different serving stations, consisting of the following dining options: • Salad bar, deli and smoothie station • Action station, with the options of a made-to-order omelets, pasta and Asian and Latin American favorites • Main line station, which will include daily comfort foods, as well a rotisserie-oven option • Grill station, featuring grilled meats, sandwiches and vegetables • Breakfast/cereal station • Hydration station • Farmers Market, which will include grab and go snacks and fresh whole fruit
The kitchens in the training table area will also be used on football game day, providing on-site food preparation needed to support the Flames Club catering needs on the third, fourth and fifth floors of the Carter Tower in the Club, Suites and 71 Club hospitality areas.
Stay tuned to LibertyFlames.com and the @LibertyFlames social media accounts for further updates as their project nears completion.
