While most Liberty students are off enjoying the leisure of the summer months before another semester begins, the Flames football team has been hard at work getting ready for the 2019 season.
Since the first week in June, Liberty's football team has been working out preparing for their first season under head coach Hugh Freeze and the program's first as a fully bowl eligible FBS program.
Recently, Game On had a chance to view Liberty's workouts and talk with Football Strength and Conditioning Coach Dominic Studzinski. During the feature, the former Ole Miss Strength Coach detailed his summer workout plan that has Liberty running four days a week and lifting three times per week.
Studzinski charge has been to prepare Liberty for an up-tempo style offense in 2019, which will make its debut when the Flames host ACC foe Syracuse on August 31. The season-opening contest will mark the first time Liberty has hosted a Power 5 opponent at Williams Stadium.
