The Liberty Flames Club hosted its 12th annual Flames Club President's Dinner, Thursday evening, honoring members at the Presidents level and higher with a dinner at the Boonsboro Country Club.
Since the President's Dinner began in 2008, Liberty Athletics and its annual fund members, along with luxury suite holders and legacy (capital) gift donors, have come together for the annual event. The dinner is to honor and show appreciation for the exclusive group of donors that provide a significant portion of the annual contributions to Liberty Athletics.
Speaking at this year's event were Flames head football coach Hugh Freeze, head men's basketball coach Ritchie McKay, head women's basketball coach Carey Green and Director of Athletics Ian McCaw.
Invited guests received a customized Liberty Flames-branded portable fire pit as a token of appreciation for their support. As Liberty Athletics continues to elevate its play on the court, on the field and in the classroom, the Flames Club has also continued to rise. This year's membership campaign had already seen 900 donors commit $1.5 million dollars year-to-date, which is more than double last year's pace that set a Flames Club donation record.
Flames Club membership begins at the $60 Talon Level, with a total of eight memberships ranging up to the $25,000 scholarship level. Flames Club members can enjoy preferred parking, seating and game day hospitality privileges based upon membership level.
All gifts to the Flames Club help provide our coaches and student-athletes the resources need to compete at a championship level. To join or receive more information, visit www.LibertyFlames.com/FlamesClub, call 434-582-CLUB (2582), or email FlamesClub@liberty.edu.
