Complete Game Notes Conference-leading Liberty (34-16, 15-3) wraps up its inaugural regular-season ASUN schedule this weekend, taking on fellow ASUN newcomer North Alabama (20-17, 6-9), Saturday and Sunday at Hilda B. Anderson Softball Stadium. Both teams are coming off of exciting wins on Tuesday.

Liberty is currently riding a program-record 12-game conference winning streak, having swept each of its last four ASUN opponents. In conference play, Liberty bats .301 as a team, scoring 4.8 runs per game. The Lady Flames have posted a 1.09 ERA in ASUN games.
Liberty trailed Radford, 8-1, in the sixth inning on Tuesday before rallying for five runs in the sixth. Trailing 8-6 with two outs in the seventh, Amber Bishop hit the first walk-off grand slam in program history, giving Liberty the 10-8 win. Bishop's blast was No. 5 on SC Top 10 that night.
Liberty's 10-8 win over Radford was the 200th in the coaching career of sixth-year head coach Dot Richardson. It was the largest deficit overcome (seven runs) in any win that she has coached.
Liberty (1.63 ERA) is currently ranked seventh in the nation in team ERA, and the Lady Flames have tossed 15 shutouts. Liberty has thrown two no-hitters, including a perfect game from Julia DiMartino versus Princeton and a four-pitcher no-hitter versus Quinnipiac.
Liberty returns eight all-conference players from last year's team, led by two-time Big South Pitcher of the Year Julia DiMartino, 2019 ASUN Preseason Player of the Year Autumn Bishop and Amber Bishop. All three were named to the NFCA All-Region team each of the last two years. Autumn Bishop was named to the 2019 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Top 50 Watch List.
Autumn Bishop was named ASUN Player of the Week on Monday, the fourth Lady Flame to earn the honor this season. She batted .583 with five runs scored and five RBI last week.
DiMartino, a two-time NFCA All-Region pitcher, is 17-7 with a 1.15 ERA, .194 opponents batting average, three shutouts and four saves. Chase Cassady is 11-2 with a 1.55 ERA and a .205 opponents batting average. DiMartino (12th nationally) and Cassady (30th) are ranked first and third in the ASUN in ERA. Liberty, UCLA, Alabama and Oklahoma are the only teams in NCAA Division I softball to have multiple pitchers ranked in the top 25 nationally in ERA.
Amber Bishop leads the ASUN in batting average (.395), hits (66) and home runs (11) also leading the team in runs (36), doubles (13) and RBI (35). Her twin sister, Autumn Bishop, hits .368 and leads the ASUN with a .478 on base percentage. Madison Via (.341) leads the team with 17 stolen bases and four triples and is second in runs scored (35). Jaclyn Amader (.320) is second on the team with 27 RBI, while Sarah Robertson (.317) carries a .412 on base percentage.
