Mackenzie Hainley came in sixth in the Duke Invitational women's javelin.
Freshmen provided most of Liberty's top performances on the final day of the Duke Invitational, Saturday at Morris Williams Track & Field Stadium.
Three of the four Flames to post top-10 finishes were freshmen, including Mackenzie Hainley in the women's javelin (sixth, 134-4), Makenzy Mizera in the women's triple jump (seventh, 40-0.5) and Jada Thomas in the women's 100 hurdles (eighth, 14.14).
Hainley's season-best 134-4 javelin mark ranks No. 2 in the ASUN this season, trailing only teammate Paige Demetriades' 136-1 effort from Friday.
Mizera, the reigning ASUN Women's Freshman of the Week, was the top freshman finisher in the women's triple jump. Sophomore teammate Adrianna Mitchell came in 11th at 38-8.25.
Thomas won her heat of the women's 100 hurdles and is now tied for No. 9 on Liberty's all-time list. Fellow Lady Flame Jaiden Mulder followed in 11th place with a 14.41 clocking.
Liberty's other top-10 performance came from the opposite end of the experience spectrum. Redshirt senior Jonny Saintil triple jumped a personal-best 49-0.25 for sixth place in the event and a tie for the No. 7 spot on Liberty's all-time list.
Fiona Barnes (12th place, 18-3) and Mizera (14th, 18-1.75) were two of four Lady Flames at two different meets to long jump 18 feet or longer on Saturday, joining heptathletes Kylie Polsgrove (18-6) and Jamie Gray (18-2.5). Seven different Liberty women's long jumpers have exceeded the 18-foot plateau in 2019.
Freshman Chelsea Stocki's steeplechase debut saw her place 24th with a time of 11:39.15, claiming the No. 10 spot in program history.
Freshmen Naomi Bowser (16th in women's 800, 2:12.52) and Calli Parlier (23rd in women's 1,500, 4:37.92) both recorded personal-best times on Saturday. Bowser has now shaved five seconds off her high school best during her freshman campaign.
Yet another freshman, Benjamin Fouse, lowered his time to 1:56.40 for 46th place in the men's 800.
