Game On recently profiled former Liberty women's basketball great Megan (Frazee) Leuzinger, on the heels of her first season as head women's basketball coach at Evangel University in Springfield, Mo.
A 2009 Liberty graduate, Leuzinger was a two-time Big South Player of the Year and earned honorable mention All-America honors as a senior. She ranks No. 3 on Liberty's all-time scoring list (1,883 points) and sits No. 5 in rebounding (951 boards). Leuzinger went on to play two seasons for the WNBA's San Antonio Silver Stars.
After spending the previous two seasons as an assistant coach at Valparaiso, Leuzinger made her head coaching debut at Evangel during the recently completed 2018-19 season. Leuzinger led the Crusaders to a 19-11 record, improving by 14 wins over the 2017-18 campaign.
