On the heels of his team's first season of ASUN Conference play, Liberty Women's Basketball Head Coach Carey Green recapped the year with Nick Pierce of the Liberty Flames Sports Network.
Following a 4-12 start to the season, Liberty won 12 of its final 16 games to earn the No. 3 seed for the ASUN Women's Basketball Championship. The Lady Flames then reached the tournament's title game before falling to No. 1 seed FGCU, ending the year with a 16-16 record.
Emily Lytle, who tied the program record for three-pointers made in a season with 64, was named to the ASUN All-Tournament Team along with Kierra Johnson-Graham. Bridgette Rettstatt was a second team All-ASUN honoree, while Tatyana Crowder represented the Lady Flames on the ASUN All-Academic Team.
