The final round scores of the top three teams in the field reflected the final standings where No. 25 Liberty finished in third place at the 2019 General Hackler Championship on Tuesday.
No. 18 North Florida carded a 1-over par 289 and finished in first place, posting a winning score of 21-under par 843 (278-276-289).
No. 6 Wake Forest closed the Coastal Carolina hosted event with a 2-over par 290, finishing in second place with a 16-under par 848 (278-280-290).
The Flames carded a 3-over par 291 during their final time around The Dunes Golf & Beach Club (par 72, 7,233 yards), securing a third-place finish with a 15-under par 849 (282-276-291).

Field Reflections: • The Dunes Golf & Beach Club was a tougher test during the final round, playing at an average score of 1.54 strokes higher during the third round (74.41) as compared to yesterday's second round (72.87). • The 13-team field saw six total teams finish the event with under-par team score. • No. 29 Louisville followed Liberty in fourth place with an 11-under par 853 (284-278-291), No. 17 Georgia finished in fifth place with a 10-under par 854 (287-284-283) and Kentucky claimed sixth place with a 6-under par 858 (284-282-292). • A total of 20 players in the 78-man field finished the 54-hole event with an under-par score, including three of Liberty's starting five golfers.
Birdies and Bogeys – Liberty Team Notes: • Liberty has posted a top-five finish in all three events this spring and in its last five total events dating back to the fall schedule. • Liberty's 12-under par 276 during the second round was the Flames' lowest 18-hole total since carding a 15-under par 273 during the second round of the 2018 Big South Men's Golf Championship on April 21, 2018. • The Flames took full advantage of their length off the tee during the event, as Liberty led the 13-team field in par-5 scoring, playing the par-5 holes at a combined 30-under par (4.50 scoring average). • Liberty ranked third in the field with 50 total birdies and was one of teams in the field to have multiple eagles during the tournament (Liberty: 2, Wake Forest: 2; Texas A&M 2). • Ervin Chang, the No. 89 ranked golfer in the country, led the Flames during the tournament as he finished tied for third place with a 9-under par 207 (70-69-68). • Chang has finished five out of six events with an under-par score during the 2018-19 season, including a season-low 207 during this event. • Gabe Lench, who is the No. 82 ranked golfer in the country, finished the event tied for seventh place with a 5-under par 211 (71-66-74). • Lench's 6-under par 66 during the second round matches his lowest round of the season and is tied for the second lowest round of his four-year career at Liberty. • Kieran Vincent rounded out Liberty's three players to finish with an under-par score, finishing tied for 10th place with a 4-under par 212 (70-70-72).
