The Lady Flames and Ospreys both enter the contest on four-game winning streaks. • Wednesday's victor will advance to Sunday's ASUN title game to face the winner of Wednesday's Kennesaw State at FGCU matchup. If FGCU wins, the Eagles will host the title game. If Kennesaw State wins, the Liberty-UNF victor will host on Sunday. • Liberty and North Florida split two regular season matchups, with the home team winning both games. • Liberty will try to become the first ASUN newcomer to reach the title game since Lipscomb in 2004. North Florida is trying to advance to its second ASUN title game in program history (also 2010). • Including its 65-53 quarterfinal win over Jacksonville on Friday, Liberty is 21-1 all-time in conference tournament games at the Vines Center. Notes and Anecdotes - Liberty vs. North Florida • Liberty and North Florida will be meeting for the third time this season. The two teams split the regular season series, with each team winning on its home floor. • If Kennesaw State upsets FGCU on Wednesday, the Liberty-UNF winner would hosts Sunday's ASUN title game. Otherwise, FGCU will play host to the title game. • Liberty is attempting to become the first ASUN newcomer to reach the title game in its inaugural season since Lipscomb in 2004. The Lady Flames reached the Big South title game 19 times in their last 22 seasons as conference members. • North Florida is trying to reach the ASUN title game for the second time.
