No. 35 Liberty carded one of the better final rounds at the 2019 Sea Best Invitational on Tuesday, finishing the event in fourth place.
Five teams in the 14-team field carded a lower score than the Flames during their final time around the TPC Sawgrass – Dye's Valley Course (par 70, 6,858).
Liberty finished the event in fourth place with an 11-over par 851 (279-289-283). The Flames had a three-shot cushion on either side of them. Liberty finished three shots ahead of No. 26 NC State (14-over par 854/290-274-290) and three shots behind No. 46 Florida (8-over par 848/278-281-289).
No. 39 Florida State had its way with the course on Tuesday, carding a 9-under par 271 to post a winning score of even par 840 (287-282-271). No. 23 North Florida, one of four ASUN teams in the field, finished in second with a 3-over par 843 (282-279-282).

Field Reflections: • Nine players in the 84-man field finished in red figures with three finishing tied atop the leaderboard. • Florida State's John Pak (70-70-66), Florida's Gordon Neale (69-69-68) and Jacksonville's Eduardo Carrete (69-64-73) all carded a 4-under par 206 to finish the tournament tied for first place. • Pak posted a par on the first playoff hole to claim medalist honors after Neale and Carrete both started the sudden death playoff with a bogey.
Birdies and Bogeys – Liberty Team Notes: • Liberty's Kieran Vincent finished two shots out of the playoff, sharing fourth place with a 2-under par 208 (68-73-67). • Vincent made the turn at level par on Tuesday, but posted three back-nine birdies to record his lowest 18-hole total of the season. • Ervin Chang, who won this event in a playoff last year, finished tied for seventh place with a 1-under par 209 (67-70-72). • Liberty led the field in par-3 scoring (+2/3.03 scoring average) and ranked second in the 14-team field with 174 total pars. • Liberty has participated in this event nine out of the last 10 years, posting eight top-five finishes.
