Thoughts From Head Coach Jeff Maren "It took us a while to adjust to the courts and tough opponents, but we all finished better than the way we started. This was definitely a learning experience for us, one that will allow for growth and an opportunity to play better in our next match."
How It Happened The Demon Deacons dominated the doubles session, sweeping the three matches. It marked the first time Liberty has lost all three doubles matches since Jan. 21, 2018 at Boston University.
Next Up • Liberty will look to pick up its first win of 2019 when it travels to face UNCG. Match time between the Lady Flames and Spartans is set for 1 p.m. and will be UNCG's season opener. • The Lady Flames are 2-3 all-time against the Spartans, but they won the last matchup between the two teams by a 5-2 count on March 2, 2018 in Lynchburg.
