The 2018 calendar year brought many new opportunities and success for Liberty Flames Athletics.

Liberty Athletics officially joined the ASUN Conference on July 1 after spending the previous 27 years as a member of the Big South Conference. Additionally, the Liberty football program played its inaugural season as an FBS program this fall.

Liberty Athletics captured seven conference titles in 2018, including: men's indoor track & field, women's indoor track & field, men's outdoor track & field, women's outdoor track & field, women's basketball, softball and men's golf.
