The Liberty Flames women's tennis team picked up six more wins on day two of the ITA Atlantic Regional on Saturday at the Cook Tennis Center.

Half of those victories came in doubles for the Lady Flames, including two from the duo of junior Kalani Soli and senior Rebekah Anderson. Soli and Anderson, the No. 10 seed in doubles at the tournament, first defeated Pittsburgh's Camila Moreno and Mariona Perez Noguera by an 8-4 score in the round of 32. In their round of 16 match, they defeated Caragh Courtney and Sarah Hall of Delaware 8-6 to reach the quarterfinals.

Soli and Anderson will meet Virginia's duo of Meghan Kelly and Sofia Munera, the No. 2 seed, in Sunday's quarterfinal round at 2:30 p.m. This marks the second straight year Anderson has reached the quarterfinals in doubles. She did so a year ago with Ashley Bongart as her partner.

Liberty's other doubles victory came from seniors Maria Medina and Lara Soares, the No. 14 seed. They edged Duquesne's Julianne Herman and Laurel Shymansky 8-6 in a round of 32 match before falling to Virginia's third-seeded pairing, Amber O'Dell and Chloe Gullickson, by an 8-6 decision in the round of 16.

Medina and Soares are the only two remaining Lady Flames in the singles main draw following their triumphs on Saturday morning to advance to the round of 32. Medina defeated Alexa Martinez of Towson 6-0, 7-6 (3), running her record to a perfect 8-0 in singles, this fall. She will face No. 12 seed Gullickson of Virginia, tomorrow at 9 a.m.

Soares, the No. 13 seed, had to battle back from a one-set deficit to Marshall's Anna Smith. The Liberty senior prevailed in three sets, including a third-set tiebreaker (3-6, 6-2, 7-6 (4)). She will square off with Maryland's  Zoe Kulkarni on Sunday at 9 a.m.

Senior Anna Dollar picked up a three-set victory against Maryland's Saya Usui (5-7, 6-4, 1-0 (10-5)) for her first singles victory of the tournament.
