Liberty Notables
• Liberty is will play its first ASUN Conference match in program history at Stetson on Thursday.  

• Liberty will meet Stetson for the only second time in program history and the first as conference opponents. The Hatters defeated the Flames, 1-0, in 1994 in a tournament at South Alabama in their only ever meeting.
• Liberty split a pair of non-conference matches at Osborne Stadium this past weekend. Friday, the Flames shutout Niagara 3-0, before falling to Manhattan in a highly competitive match 2-1 on Sunday.
• Tresor Mbuyu scored twice in Friday's victory over Niagara, pushing his season goal total to five.
• Kevin Mendoza had two assists on Friday and scored Liberty's lone goal on Sunday.
• Liberty begins the week averaging 2.00 goals per game, while allowing 1.33 goals per game.
• With defender Shalom Dutey scoring his first goal of the season this past Friday, six Flames have now netted at least one goal in 2018.
• Mbuyu and Mendoza enter the week second and third in the ASUN in points with 12 and seven, respectively. Mbuyu is second in the conference with five goals, while Mendoza is second in the ASUN with three assists.
• Brogan Engbers has logged the majority of the minutes in goal for the Flames in 2018. The freshman goalkeeper has posted a 1.46 goals-against average and .667 save percentage
• The Flames were picked to finish in sixth place in the 2018 ASUN Preseason Men's Soccer Poll. Mendoza and Mbuyu were named to the ASUN Preseason All-Conference team.
