With the 2018 Liberty women's lacrosse season wrapped up, LFSN's Alan York had a chance to catch up with Lady Flames head coach Kelly Nangle to recap the year.
Liberty enjoyed its most successful season in program history with a program-record 13 wins against just five losses on the year. The Lady Flames posted a program-best 6-1 mark in the Big South to finish as the runner-up in the regular-season standings.
Liberty closed the year at No. 38 in the NCAA Women's Lacrosse RPI out of 115 DI teams, their best ranking at season's end in school history.
