The 2018 Liberty Tennis Camp will begin on Sunday.
The Liberty men's tennis program will be holding its 2018 Liberty Tennis Camp beginning on Sunday (June 17) and running through June 21.
The Liberty Tennis Camp will feature five days of instruction from Liberty Men's Tennis Head Coach Derek Schwandt and Liberty Men's Tennis Assistant Coach Beck Pennington. Registration and check-in will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The clinic will conclude with lunch, an awards ceremony and dorm check-out from noon-1:30 p.m. on June 21.
"Beck and I are excited about starting a new tradition with Liberty Tennis Camp," Schwandt said. "Our plan is to expose the campers to a Division I level experience and create a fun, inspiring atmosphere. Each day will include top-notch technical instruction, match play and evening activities for overnighters."
The summer camp is open to any and all entrants ages 8-18. The cost is $360 for the week or $625 for the week for overnight campers. The weeklong clinic will enhance each camper's skills through morning instruction and afternoon match play. Sound fundamentals and strategy will be taught in an engaging, fun environment.
